Statement
Born in Bucharest, Romania, Alexandra Costin studied Fine Arts, developing skills in
traditional art mediums such as drawing and painting, majoring in sculpting in the last
four years of her degree. She is currently illustrating a fantasy-thriller book for a
Romanian author and working on a web design for a local music producer.
Alexandra lives in the southern coast of England, where she studies photography at
the University of Portsmouth. Her photographic interest is focused on theory-based
photography, digital manipulation and industrial landscape documentary. She finds
inspiration in artists such as Leigh Wells, Ren Hang and Erwin Wurm.
