Statement
At this moment in time, my work is focussed around people that I pass on a day to day basis. These people, whether friends or strangers, each interact and impact my life in different ways.
Incorporating them into my work, I take an everyday occurrence, which I may never think twice about, and spend hours focussing upon it. This pause in time, whilst my life carries on around me, is almost comforting.
My paintings invite you to stop and absorb yourselves into my day to day, and then suddenly, you are now an integrated piece of my universe, just as the people in my paintings are. Maybe you’ll be the next on canvas?
