Painting with Wool
‘Create a Wet-Felted Seascape’ with artist Chris Jenkins on 24th August 10.00 am – 1.00 pm.
Learn to layer wool tops with a range of other fibres and use wet felting techniques to create a beautiful seascape. A frame and mount will be provided so that, once dry, your picture will be ready to mount and take home. All materials and equipment are provided including refreshments.

Chinese Brush Painting
Learn Chinese Brush painting with artist, Maggie Cross, who is a superb teacher as well as a gifted artist. Examples of her fine work can be seen in our summer exhibition SMiLE. You will be shown how to paint in the freestyle manner so typical of Chinese painting using only a few strokes to create a lively composition. Maggie is a member of The Chinese Brush Painters’ Society and the Society of Floral Painters. She regularly exhibits her work and also frequently lectures and teaches on the subject. She has published three books.
