Statement
Barbara revisited her penchant for printmaking gained at school after a career in computing. She completed the Foundation and Diploma course at the fine art print workshop Red Hot Press, where she is still a member.
Her love is in relief and mono printing, drawing her inspiration directly from the world around but most particularly coastal studies.
She exhibits regularly in Hampshire including St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery, Lymington, Southampton City Art Gallery and Hilliers Arboretum, Romsey and in Devon.
She also has passion for making lovely paste paper (a 17th century form of decorating papers) hand stitched note books and sketch pads.
