Bronax lives in Gosport where he was born. After a career in civil engineering and information science he moved into art in the ’70’s and opened a studio in Hebden Bridge. A spell in France led to a career in translating technical documents. Brodnax returned to Gosport over ten years ago and continues his creative voyage.
His work has developed through cartooning, photography, film making, mail art and painting. He has exhibited in London, Athens and the US.
His comic strip was regularly used in Artists Newsletter. His paintings have an abstract appearance, with juxtaposition of colour, numbers and letters.
