Statement
Elaine paints figuratively and mostly in watercolours although she often adds other media to achieve the visual effects these can bring to the work.
She usually works on series of paintings with the same theme, something that interests her. The subject matter often changes because there are so many aspects of our daily lives and surroundings she finds fascinating and compelling.
Elaine hopes her art is relatable so that people seeing it recognise something in it of themselves and their own lives
