Statement
I was born in Germany, and have lived in Canada and the Middle East.
I now live on the seashore overlooking the Isle of Wight. The sea inspires and frustrates me as I grapple to capture its many moods.
I work in oil and other media in an impressionistic style. In addition to seascapes I love nature so also paint landscapes. Basically I like to experiment and every painting that emerges is the result of a journey that takes on a life of its own and often results as a complete surprise.
