Statement
Gillian Hawkins
Gillian lives and works in Portsmouth. She examines images and emotions in the domestic word, and works with the uncertainty of relationships. She is principally a painter and started etching in 2008 and has developed this alongside, and complementary to, her paintings. She is a member of ArtSpace Portsmouth and is also a member of Omega Printmakers. She exhibits widely and has work in collections in the UK and abroad.
