Who we are:

Yellow Edge Gallery is an artist led, not for profit organisation providing versatile, affordable exhibition space for artworks, talks, workshops and discussion forums.

Our main area of interest is promoting the work of local artists, working with young and emerging artists and raising local awareness and interest in contemporary art.  

The gallery provides opportunities for members to develop their artistic practice through collaboration, networking, and critiquing sessions.

Our aim is to:

• build a reputation for exhibiting a variety of visual art and challenging works.
• be regarded as a distinct and serious art venue.
• have a positive presence within the local artistic community.
• help support emerging, as well as established artists.

How we run:

We run on a co-operative basis.  To keep costs down we do not employ staff, with the aim being to provide all the labour and expertise ourselves.  We therefore are looking for members who are willing to contribute to the running and development of the gallery.
